The Board of Strategy and Operations (BSO) serves both as YIRA's internal consultancy and chief vehicle for membership relations. Strategy projects range from providing recommendations to the Board of Directors on organizational management, new constituent programs, corporate sponsorship, and collaborations with businesses and student organizations. Membership operations include planning two banquets, biweekly happy hours, the United Nations Simulation at Yale (UNCSY) conference, sponsoring dozens of speakers events, and also hosts distinguished guests on campus throughout the year through 'YIRA Speakers,' a program directed by the BSO.
