Speaker's Committee
The Speakers' Committee has two central goals: first, to expose the Yale community to a range of opinions on international affairs by inviting world leaders to campus, and second, to provide a forum through which discussions on global issues can take place. The Committee seeks to attract government officials, ambassadors, journalists, academics, and others to participate in events open to the entire Yale community. The Committee will provide diverse forums in which speakers can communicate their perspectives and experiences to the Yale community, including Masters' Teas, panel discussions, addresses to a broader audience, dinners, and student debates.
The Speaker's Committee comprises a Committee Chair as well as a number of Committee Members with positions ranging from Coordinator of the UN and International Figures to Coordinator of Yale Faculty and Academia. If you are interested in joining the Speaker's Committee, please contact George Bogden, Speaker's Committee Chair for the 2008 - 2009 academic year at george.bogden@yale.edu.
