YIRA Banquet

picture1
Near the end of each semester YIRA holds an all expense paid banquet for its members. These banquets serve as an opportunity for YIRA members to relax, enjoy each others company, and reward themselves for a semester of activities. The Fall Banquet is a semi-formal affair held at a local restaurant. An open bar cocktail reception is fallowed by a delicious three course meal.

The Spring Banquet is a more formal affair held at the Union League Café, one of New Haven’s finest restaurants. The Spring Banquet includes a recap of the year in pictures as well as the seniors’ farewell speeches. Seniors have a private Cocktail reception at Union League while underclassmen enjoy a reception at the Graduate Club. All YIRA members in good standing are invited.

The banquets are organized by the current Treasurer, whom you can contact for more information.

"The YIRA Spring banquet was one of the most enjoyable activities of the semester. Filled with fascinating individuals over one great dinner, it was a fun way to recap a semester of involvement with YIRA while saying goodbye to outstanding individuals in our midst. Also, the food is delicious."
