About the Speakers Committee
The role of the Speaker’s Committee is to bring prominent and interesting speakers to campus to speak on international relations and global issues. As such, the Committee organizes between 10 and 15 events every year, many of which are open to the entire Yale community. These events range from speeches to panel discussions, and Master’s Teas co-organized with a Yale residential college to debates and more intimate dinners. Past speakers have included politicians, officials from governments and NGOs, ambassadors, journalists and academics. The Speaker’s Committee is led by a Committee Chair, and is run by several Committee members, each of whom works continually to find and bring quality speakers to Yale campus.
