Yale Model United Nations Korea has left its mark as one of the premier Model UN conferences in the Far East. Held in Seoul, South Korea, this conference attracts over 300 delegates from high schools in Korea and around the world. YMUN Korea is the first and only Ivy League conference in Asia to be run without any host Korean institutions or universities. YMUN Korea also stands out from other Model UN conferences in Korea by encouraging delegates to develop diplomacy and critical thinking skills under pressure and by using a unique Model UN procedure. Embodying Yale University’s academic rigor and professionalism, YMUN Korea adheres to the highest standards of international Model UN conferences. While this conference caters to the region’s top students, YMUN Korea also provides a friendly learning environment for novice delegates. Supportive YIRA staffers and committee chairs spend hours researching their topics in preparation for the conference's dynamic and fast-paced committees. Delegates are also enriched outside of the committee session with a variety of social and informative events like the Yale Ball.

YMUN Korea's mission is to inspire aspiring delegates to pursue global affairs by immersing them in international diplomacy, debate, and global leadership. To learn more about the conference, see important dates, or register for this year’s conference, please visit our website (below).
