The Yale Model United Nations Institute, or YMUNI, is a week-long residential summer program about leadership, international relations, and Model United Nations taught by Yale students for high school students who have a moderate level of Model United Nations experience. Through YMUNI, program participants will learn more about the world, themselves, YIRA, and the amazing resources Yale has to offer. And through YMUNI, YIRA members who participate in the program will gather and work together to continue to make a huge impact on the lives of high school students from around the world. YMUNI Executive Director - Jake Colavolpe

YMUNI Director of Culture - Aman Kabeer

Aman Kabeer is a Sophomore in Morse College planning to major in Political Science and Economics & Mathematics. Aman began his YIRA career as a Vice Chair for the FIFA Committee at SCSY 2015, which was also his first introduction into the Model United Nations system. He currently acts as the Director of Culture for YMUNI, and is looking forward to Chairing the committee on United Kingdom's Economic Policy Post-Eurozone Crisis and Economic and Financial Affairs cabinet at YMGE 2016. He also serves as the USG of Marketing for SCSY 2016 and is Chairing the ECOFIN GA at YMUN 2017.
